Welcome to plot 5! It was briefly my parents plot but we swapped plots a few days ago, they required less space and I wished for more. There’s plenty of work to do and I’m really looking forward to starting.
Plot 5 comes with a shed that’s full of character, weather-beaten it has blown over on occasion but refuses to give up and I love it for that very reason. The plastic sheet roof covers a massive hole and rotten boards, the frame is twisted and partially sits on a rock to correct the level so the shed wobbles from side to side when you touch it. It’s a fixer-upper but still a place for my tools to rest and for me to shelter from the rain, although I’ll give it a wide berth on windy days! A new shed will be needed at some point in time but for now I will enjoy my charming little shed, along with the spiders.
The plot wasn’t used for quite some time and was overgrown, luckily the previous owners strimmed it all down to the ground in late summer before deciding to give it up. At the moment I’m making plans and deciding how I’d like to use to the space, it’s the perfect time of year to take stock of what my new plot has to offer. I already know it’s in full sun all year round, my future pumpkins are going to love it as much as I do.
